Physiotherapy is a combination of manual therapy, exercises and advice designed to treat a large range of musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses.
Common conditions that can be improved with physiotherapy include, but are not limited to:
- Injury & post-operative rehabilitation
- Sciatica
- Arthritis
- Osteoporosis
Physiotherapists use several methods of treatment including massage, stretches, exercises, and manual manipulation of your joints to relieve pain and improve physical mobility.
What to expect at your appointment:
Your Physiotherapist will take a thorough history of the presenting complaint and any other relevant previous medical history. They will then assess your level of mobility, strength and endurance by performing an appropriate physical examination. This will help them diagnose your condition and develop a treatment plan with you to reduce pain, restore movement and improve function!
